LILA MOSS

​Lila Grace Moss Hack, born on September 29, 2002, in London, England, is a British model and the daughter of supermodel Kate Moss and Dazed Media co-founder Jefferson Hack. Despite her parents' separation shortly after her birth, they have co-parented amicably. Lila was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes during childhood and has been open about managing the condition throughout her modeling career. ​

Early Life and Education

Raised in London, Lila is the only child of Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack. She attended private schools in London and, in 2022, enrolled at the Parsons School of Design in New York City to study fashion. ​

Modeling Career

Lila began her modeling career at age 14, appearing on the cover of Vogue Italia alongside her mother in 2016. She signed with the Kate Moss Agency and, in 2018, became the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. Her runway debut was for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week in 2020. Since then, she has modeled for high-end brands including Fendi, Versace, Calvin Klein, and Burberry. ​

In 2021, Lila and her mother walked together in Fendi's couture show during Paris Fashion Week. She has also appeared on the covers of British Vogue, Vogue Japan, and Vogue Hong Kong. ​

Personal Life and Advocacy

Lila has been candid about living with type 1 diabetes, often wearing her insulin pump visibly during fashion shows to raise awareness. She has expressed a desire to use her platform to support others with the condition. ​

Beyond modeling, Lila maintains close friendships with fellow second-generation celebrities like Iris Law and Stella Jones. She continues to balance her burgeoning career with her studies and personal life, carving out her own identity in the fashion industry.
